Setting up a Network Account ....

Why: So you can save all your files to your own private drive and not get your stuff deleted by saving it on the "public" drive!

How:

Step 1: Get on the Internet and type "http://logon" in the address (BTW - this only works at school) and then click on "Authorize Domain Logons"

Step 2: Click through the legal stuff and agree to it all (there is a slow load time so be patient) ...

Step 3: Put in your student number and birth date (exactly as shown) ... you will be immediately recognized if you are in the system (if not in system, call 325-6060)

Step 4: The next day you can log on the network using your student number as your username and your student id again as your password. You will be required to change your password immediately. PICK A PASSWORD YOU WILL NOT FORGET! (Like use the same password as you use for e-mail). Unfortunately you probably have to be on a WINDOWS 2000 or XP machine to change your password (Windows 98 usually does not work)
