"TTI Loan Agreements
Expiring ... What Next?"
Everyone,
I just wanted to provide
you with advance notice that the TTI Loan
Agreements signed by teachers will begin expiring in April of this
year. As
a result, I will be sending to you and your principal a list of
the teachers
with TTI equipment that I have assigned to your building. With the
mobility
of staff in the last year or so, this list may not be 100% accurate
(as we
do not receive notification when teachers with TTI move to another
building,
and in some cases when they leave the District or become otherwise
ineligible). We will be relying on you and your principal to confirm
that
the teachers on the list are still eligible, and to obtain their
signature
on a renewal of the TTI agreement.
According to the program rules, this renewal will be for a period
of 2 years.
I plan to make the expiration of the renewal June 30, 2006 - so
that everyone
will have the same expiration date. I will include information regarding
teacher eligibility, as well as a copy of the necessary forms each
teacher must sign.
Teachers who fail to sign the renewal will be required to turn in
their equipment.
I realize that the coordination of this for your building adds an
additional task to
your already full plates, and appreciate your assistance in accomplishing
this. You can look for the list and forms sometime in the next 2
weeks. In
the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
