1. Alumni Honors-Counselor’s choice Scholarship and U of Wisconsin: must be nominated; after nomination apply

2. AAA Michigan’s School safety patrol Scholarship program: Deadline April 6, 2007, $1,000. Requirements include: must present documentation of being a AAAMichigan School Safety Patrol participant, have good academic standing and a strong record of extracurricular involvement. Applications are in the Guidance Office.

8. GVSU Mary Jane Dockeray Science Scholarships; deadline March 5, 2007; 2 awards of #1500 planning on pursuing a career in science.

10. The American Musical and Dramatic Academy of New York City and Los Angeles: visit www.AMDA.edu for information about scholarships

11. Helen T. Carr Fellowship for HBCU Students: continual deadlines; award amount $10,000; requirement: must be an African-American in financial need planning on studying engineering.

15. Apply to University of Michigan and realize that there are scholarships ranging from $1000 to $10,000; though the student MUST be accepted to the University in order to qualify.
